A Response to a Fool
An individual using the pen name “D.B. Cooper” recently wrote a scurrilous and boring tirade mainly focused on me and the two organizations that I support, For the People and the Organizing Committee for a Maoist Communist Party. This response should not be seen as being representative of the line of any political organization that I support, rather, a response to yet another blatant display of settler-colonial arrogance and hubris posing as a statement of revolutionary principle.
The piece is, arrogantly enough, titled “Resolving My Position in the Communist Movement”. The author recently left the Marxist Center network after writing a fairly decent critique of its methods of organizing and theoretical positions. However, something in their brain seems to have broken and they decided to publish this piece mentioning me by name. It starts with a rant complaining about how I apparently am too mean to white people. This is an asinine and racist position for a supposed “race traitor” to have. For one, Black people do not owe white people, comrades or otherwise, explanations for things we say. This author apparently sees “being nice to white people” as the sum total of what it takes to be a revolutionary. Settlers in the United States are not currently and never have been revolutionaries. This individual who is now posturing themselves as a principled communist and bootleg theoretician should know this very basic historical fact. Whether or not they become revolutionary is up to them and the settlers calling themselves Communists, I don’t particularly care much what happens to them as a people.
“He refuses to engage with people in good faith”. Again, I and no other black person do not owe anything, particularly “good faith”, to the people who kidnapped us from our native land and continue to exploit us. My ancestors put good faith in y’all, look what happened. Colonizers are liars, bullshitters, turncoats and talk out of both sides of their mouths. No Black person in their right mind trusts y’all unless you’ve proven yourselves worthy. If you want good faith, earn it. Calling yourself a Communist and sloganeering is not enough. Many enemies of our people come in sheep’s clothing baaing about how good comrades they are. I don’t want to hear it. I am not going to argue back and forth with colonizers on Twitter about basic shit. They also venture to criticize a video about FTP that I uploaded a couple weeks ago. They wrap up with a “critique” of Jose Maria Sison in the vein of the Gonzaloite two-minute hate of the month (he’s apparently a right opportunist or some other such silliness) and mentioning my jokes about running for alderman of Saint Louis. They also throw in some sad mentions of them “teasing and flirting with me on Facebook messenger” and mentioning how I snubbed and ignored them. In retrospect, that was a very good thing to do on my part.
I’m not going to venture to offer this attention seeking behavior a dignified political response. This person is obviously in a bad place mentally, otherwise they wouldn’t be flirting with Gonzaloism which only attracts colonizer lunatics who want to murk their parents in the first place. A bunch of colonizers who go on and on about how they’re bound for great glory if they only kill enough people is a cult. This is apparently what this author sees as being revolutionary in the United States, not the various New Afrikan led formations. Once again, colonizers seek their own level and neglect their revolutionary duty to my people for madness and stupidity in the form of attacking revolutionary leaders like Jose Maria Sison and writing racist things that are only read by themselves. More power to them. However, attacking me for being a better, more popular, and smarter Communist than you is not helping yourself. They claim that I position myself as a “leader of the US communist movement” and are apparently quite bitter and jealous of the fact that a Black person is capable of doing something other than following behind Massa Drake and saying how good a revolutionary they be. They even cite me as an influence in their turn to Maoism in the first place. Many people do. There are very few Black people in the Communist movement in the United States. This is mainly due to the fact that people like this colonizer ass author exist in large numbers and fill up endless pages, meetings, and heads with their hollow, self-centered, counter-revolutionary bullshit and meaningless squabbles over their interpretations of the actions of better Communists who actually led revolution. I reject that and every black person should. We should constantly be seeking leadership positions, this is our right. We make the revolution. The only way that the Communist movement in the United States will advance is by putting fleas and ants like this would be author under revolutionary discipline and the leadership of colonized people and force them to reckon with material reality, which can accurately be summed up as “colonizers, y’all ain’t running shit.” This person has done no good service to my people. They have supported no organizations led by us, contributed no resources to anything, or done anything besides complain. What are you complaining for? Why are you taking out your weird colonizer complexes on Chris Winston? Go see a psychiatrist, eat a good meal, and keep my name and my comrades’ names out of your whiny ass articles. I write what the fuck I want, and say what the fuck I want. If I wanted advice on being counter revolutionary from colonizers only fit to be hanged, I’d ask.
